The workshop takes place at the Carmen de la Victoria, in the historic el Albaycin of Granada. El Albaycin, together with the Alhambra and Generalife, appear on the Unesco World Heritage list. The Carmen de la Victoria is an old Carmen (Arab for pleasure garden), situated high in the Albaycin and overlooking the Alhambra. The Carmen de la Victoria is used by the university of Granada to host small conferences. It contains a limited number of hotel rooms, restaurant, bar, gardens and terraces, library, working rooms, a conference room, a wireless network and a number of desktop computers.

Granada can be reached by plane through
- Granada International Airport, this is the easy way
- Malaga International Airport, from here the bus, 3 hours
- Madrid International Airport, from here train, 4,5 hour or bus, about 6 hours

The three airports above have a bus line to reach Granada from the Airport. From Madrid (you have to take it at T4 terminal) and from Malaga Airport the bus is operated by the Company ALSA (see for more details and timetables). If you are flying directly to Granada airport (the easy way) there is a bus line at the Granada airport that has one of its stops in "Gran Via" which is at 15 minutes walking distance to the workshop venue. If you have heavy luggage we recommend you to take a taxi from this bus stop to the "Carmen de la Victoria" or your hotel (around 5 € cost) or directly from the Granada Airport to your final destination in Granada downtown (with a cost around 25€)
Additionally if you are thinking to spend some time in Madrid and you are flying directly to Madrid you can also reach Granada by train departing from  Atocha Train Station (see for ticket prices and timetables) Trains are leaving at 9.05 or at 17.05. Takes about 4,5 hour.  By  bus to Granada,  departing from "Estación Sur de Autobuses" (see or for more information) you will need about 6 hours.
If you arrive to the Granada Bus Station, there you can take a city bus (lines 3) and stop in one of the "Gran Via" stops, the nearest to "Plaza de Reyes Catolicos", and from there you can arrive to  your final destination by taxi. If you are arriving to Granada Train Station from Madrid, you can take there a taxi to your final destination (about 10€ cost)
Finally, if you are planning to fly to Malaga International Airport and spend some days there, the best way to reach Granada is by bus from the Malaga Bus Station (see for more details and timetables).
